All student achievement is monitored through a variety of assessment procedures.  Students in Years 1 - 3 receive two progress reports per year and a report on their achievement against the National Standard for Reading, Writing, and Maths on or around their anniversary time of commencing school.

Students in Years 4 - 8 receive a progress report in Term 1 and an achievement report in relation to the National Standard for Reading, Writing and Maths in Term 4. The results of these assessments are reported to parents in written format twice a year. These reports are discussed during student led conferences where goals are set for next learning steps.

Student led conference:  In this way of reporting, the student is very actively involved in the learning and reporting process which is conducive with the guidelines of effective assessment in the NZ Curriculum. This format for interviewing provides students an opportunity to share their learning with their families
